​War in Ukraine

 

Due to the devastating war situation in Ukraine, many people in the country are fleeing and are dependent on comprehensive support. Here we show a continuously updated list of organizations and small initiatives for humanitarian support.

Money donations:

A large number of well-known humanitarian organizations are currently setting up aid for the people in Ukraine and refugees who are fleeing across the borders into neighboring European countries. They are dependent on financial support.

  • Caritas (Link): Establishment of aid stations for internally displaced persons in various places in the Ukraine

  • SOS Kinderdorf ( Link ): Support for the evacuation and housing of 50,000 refugees from Ukraine

  • Diakonie Österreich ( Link ): Emergency aid for war refugees

  • ORF Nachbar in Not ( Link ): Organization of water, food, hygiene items, medical care and heating materials

  • Doctors Without Borders ( Link ): Medical help on site

  • Red Cross ( Link ): Support for the Ukrainian Red Cross

  • Task Force Flüchtlingshilfe Gelsenkirchen e.V.: Transport of goods to Ukraine, transport of refugees to the EU

Goods donations:

Increasingly, initiatives are being formed to bring clothing, blankets and other necessary aids to the border and also to Ukraine.

  • Vinothek im Hof / Graz ( Link ): Shoes of all sizes, warm clothing, blankets and medication can be handed in every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m

  • Unlimited Democracy & St. Barbara Church / Vienna ( Link ): Donations of goods and money, drivers and cars for transport and housing for refugees in Austria are organized

  • House of Hope - Social Bazar / Vienna ( Link ): Goods are distributed to refugees in Vienna

  • save_ukraine_graz / Graz (Link): Goods are collected and distributed to people in need
