Conserve resources and explore new ones!

Any generation of material wealth is inevitably based on the consumption of resources. With the exception of fossil fuels, the problem lies not directly in the consumption, but in the environmentally damaging extraction of raw materials. There are no conceivable scenarios in which future generations can do without the extraction and processing of primary raw materials. On the one hand, this is due to the increasing hunger for resources caused by a growing world population and constantly improving living conditions. On the other hand, recycling also has physical limits in terms of the quantity and quality that can be achieved.

It is therefore essential to develop more sustainable processes for the exploration, processing and extraction of primary resources.
